Couples, who want for the greatest day in their life, a special ambiance, will find that at the Town Hall of Dippoldiswalde.

On the 1st floor at the south-east side of our restored house at the former council-meeting room is the Wedding Chamber situated.

Before the chamberbecame thecouncil-meeting room, people had to render here in the year 1855 the consumption declaration for provisions and necessary items.

After the council-meeting room wasn't used anymore the room with its lovely ceiling vaulting stayed hidden from the public as it was used as a office by theSparkasse.

In the course ofthetown Hall's restoration the Sparkasse moved to a different buildingand the council-meeting room has been restored to its orginal state. Notable is most of allis the painting at the beautiful old-gothic cross vaulting.

Since the 15th of May 1998 this historical room is now finally used as Wedding Chamber.Marriage ceremonies are possible daily during business hours.

Getting married on a Saturday is also possible by arrangement.
